
The Emirates Group has reported a record pre-tax profit of AED 22.7 billion (USD 6.2 billion) for the 2024-25 financial year. With this outstanding result, the Group became the most profitable aviation group globally, while Emirates Airline secured the title of the world’s most profitable airline with a record AED 21.2 billion (USD 5.8 billion) in profit.
During the same period, Emirates’ total revenue reached AED 127.9 billion (USD 34.9 billion), and its cash balance rose to AED 49.7 billion. The Group announced it would distribute AED 6 billion in dividends to its parent company, the Investment Corporation of Dubai.
In 2024-25, Emirates launched new routes to Bogotá and Madagascar and reinstated several others including Edinburgh and Phnom Penh. The airline carried 53.7 million passengers and achieved a 7% increase in cargo volumes with 2.3 million tonnes transported through Emirates SkyCargo. Meanwhile, dnata posted a pre-tax profit of AED 1.6 billion (USD 430 million) and grew its revenue by 10% to AED 21.1 billion (USD 5.8 billion). dnata expanded its operations with full ownership of services at Rome Fiumicino Airport and continued its international growth in Zurich, Brussels, and Raleigh-Durham.
